A Timeless Garden on Every Page
Description
Inspired by William Morris’s iconic “Vine” design from 1873, the Hobonichi HON A6 – V&A Series: Vine brings historic decorative art to everyday planning. Rich grape clusters intertwined with lush foliage create an elegant botanical design with timeless character.
Created in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), London, this HON A6 draws from the museum’s renowned Arts and Crafts collection. The canvas-like cover faithfully recreates the texture of the original hand-printed wallpaper, including subtle underdrawing lines and variations in color. A gold foil William Morris quote adds a refined finishing touch, while the lightweight, slightly flexible hardcover provides a comfortable book-like feel. Made in Japan, it beautifully combines artistic heritage, craftsmanship, and everyday practicality.

The binding of the "HON" notebook uses the same "thread-stitched binding" method as the Hobonichi Techo notebook itself,
allowing it to lie flat at 180 degrees . It stays flat without needing to be held down by hand. The notebook itself uses "Tomoe River," a thin, lightweight, and durable paper specifically for notebooks. It is characterized by its smooth writing feel and easy ink absorption.

Bonus pages at the back include the standard "My 100," "Favorites," and "About the 24 Solar Terms" in the Japanese version, as well as newly added "Opening Phrases for Diary Writing," "Sign Language to Remember," and "Hobonichi's Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Guide" in the Japanese version, and the standard "My 100," "Favorites," and "365 Days Check-Off Sheet," as well as newly added "Phrases to Break That Writer's Block," "Hard-to-Translate Japanese Words," and "Hobonichi's Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Map" in the English version. HON also comes with a special underlay sheet featuring a 5mm grid design . *As of the 2027 edition, the underlay sheet is sold separately.
